Hi Meg. I wanted to comment on the iceberg picture you have to introduce your blog. I grew up looking at icebergs off the east coast of Newfoundland. Every spring in May and early June they come down from way up north. Sometimes they carry with them little treasures like a Polar Bear!! One once cam on shore for a visit!! Sometimes people row their boats out for a closer look ... very dangerous thing to do. Often the berg will roll over when you least expect it!! Last time I was home (May 2002) I took many pictures of icebergs. My brother-in-law even took me on an "iceberg hunt" for as many different shapes as we could find. It is interesting to look at them as huge as they are and think that you are only looking at 1/10 of it!!! The other 9/10 is under the water!!! WOW!!!

I also want to comment on the picture of the iceberg. I am intrigued by it. What lurks beneath the surface?
